I and my friends have created a computer game. We define ourselves as a team called ELEMENT. Can we claim a copyright for our game - as in, can we say "copyright ELEMENT" on our title screen, documents web page etc. Do we need to register or anything cause we are seriously out of cash? I don't want to incorporate a company and make money, just a software copyright.

You can use a team name in a copyright notice, since a copyright notice serves no legal function. No registration has been required to obtain copyright protection in any major country since the late 1970s. All creative works are automatically protected by copyright as soon as they are created.
