I was watching a video on YouTube saying that the Copyright Act 1976 protected you from copyrighted material. I did a little more research into this, and I found two different statements. The first one said that you have to take this into court, and the decision of the judge determines whether it protects you or not. The second one stated that "fair use" (see Section 107) was deemed okay by judges and you were protected. I'm not sure which one is right, so I came here for a direct answer. Can anyone help?
