How do I know for sure if a song is copyright protected?

The song: Andare the album: Divenire the artist: Ludovico Einaudi Is it copyright protected, and is there a site I can visit to see other copyright songs?

If it's out, it's copyrighted. You don't need to register something with the Copyright Office for it to get copyright protection. As soon as it's fixed in a form (in this case, a musical work & sound recording), it's copyrighted, unless it's somehow fallen into the public domain, which isn't very likely

I think all songs any artist/composer wants to protect is copyrighted its a form of insurance. Usually on a formal song sheet there is a CCLI#.

you can re-do any copyrighted material , chances are they wont come after you unless your actually prophiting from that material...and if you are..big deal pay them there royalties..you can afford it now. They only take out of what you make from that material. In other words if you redo sumthin and it dont make you any money..then you owe no one anything...but when the money comes in..you must pay them i think its like 3% each royalty..its not as big of a deal as people make it.
