All Answers To Questions

Answer 1

You can't copyright a business name, only get a trademark. You will have to come up with the design of your business logo with the name and apply for a trademark. You will need to research the process, including how to search the trademark database to ensure that someone hasn't already have a trademark on the name and/or logo (something similar you be a yes). See the link below from the US Patent & Trademark office on how to apply for a trademark,

Answer 2

The moment you apply to register for a company name, the country/state will check that it is not already used before it is approved. All company names are UNIQUE for legal reasons. However, you'll have to apply for the process first. Only brands/logos and taglines can be trademark. But that also depends on the markets it is applied to. Just because you register it in the US does NOT mean that it cannot be used elsewhere. Same goes for company names.
