I put up songs usually on Youtube so the majority of the time, they get copyrighted. Sometimes the video is pulled off youtube but the majority of the time the send me a notice that just states that there are going to be ads on the video. How many violations can I get before I end up getting suspended?

If they say there are going to be ads, that is not a violation. If WMA does not authorize your soundtrack, your video will have no sound - Thats it. Quit uploading copyrighted music...Just choose a song from youtube's vast selection. I believe there is an option on youtube to "Add Music"

You have three strikes & I think on your second strike youtube notify you and tell you that your could could be suspended..

You can only get up to three copyright violations before your account gets suspended. Re To Other Answerers: Are you serious!?!?! 3 strikes! 3?!?!? I got 4 or 5 copyrights and it always said "Your account is in good standing" I know a friend of mine who got copyright on all his videos and he's doing great!

I tried uploading videos that has copyrighted video on it and it either gets posted or not posted. My first account got suspended long after I have posted the video. So it will vary between the number of violations. I don't know for sure. I think they got their staff going through everyone's accounts scanning for violations. They need to delete some videos to reduce cost for hard drive space.
