How to avoid copyright infringement on Youtube?

I've been a Youtuber for about two or three years now and I have been cited for copyright infringement. Two of them have been deleted, and the others have been limited play to certain countries. Other than that, I'm sure that there is a loophole to dodge this bullet. If you're wondering what I am doing, then I am an anime music video and a "dedication slideshow" producer.

All Answers To Questions

Answer 1

The most secure loophole is to write your own music, or have a friend write some for you. If those aren't options, there's always the option of using music and audio from royalty free, or public domain archives. You won't get in trouble for using these. I hope this helps, and best of luck.

Answer 2

There is no way to "dodge" copyright. Music copyright law is genuine law that has been around for decades. I can't understand why teens seem to think the Internet somehow magically changes or cancels existing law. YouTube was actually set up for people to share home videos - videos they had made totally themselves, 100% their own work and creativity, both images and sound. YouTube itself along eith copyright owners and adults generally are mystified by the teen obsession with uploading random images accompanied by somebody else's music and calling it a video

Answer 3

So simple, do not use any Music and Videos that are copyrighted already. If you want to put a backsong into a video, without scared of copyright, what you need to do is, use uncopyrighted music. How can i do it? I don't want to download anything anymore! Relax!!! Just upload an empty sounded video to YouTube and use an "Audio Swap" feature. Then, choose a music you want, those music are not copyrighted so you can use them for your videos. Just choose a music, such as "Let The Body Hit The Floor" (I already opened so many videos and all are using this music) and youtube will replace all your sounds that existing to your video file with the music you've choosed.

Answer 4

Alright, from all those other answers, I'll guess you understand what copyright 'is' When uploading to myspace, photobucket, youtube, etc. There's a small scanner which looks at your video. This scanner will determine if what you posted is infringing a copyright. But from my experience, this scanner has a flaw. In order to pass the scanner, cut off a portion of the song you're using. The scanner will pass it off as a remix or as your own.
