How to put music on youtube without it being taken away?

I want to be able put a top ten list of songs on their and when I uploaded it it took it away for copyright reasons. How can I make it so I can upload it without being sued or something.

Don't use copyright music and it won't be taken down. The audio swap feature in YouTube only uses a very small fraction of the total amount of creative commons music. For a better selection use http://search.creativecommons.org/ - you want the search results from Jamendo, Europeana and SpinXpress. Remember to read the license aggreement for whatever you're using. you can't. You tube is obligated by law to comply with the record label that owns the copyrights posting it is illegal distribution and you tube is required by law to comply.

You can publish your own LIST of songs, but not the songs themselves, unless you have publication rights from the copyright owners.
