Is using someone elses texture in a design against copyright?

Ok, i designed a logo for a company and got a little lazy. I used about 20% of a grunge texture in the design through a mask. Im just curious if this is against copyright outright or should I make some changes to the design as to make it legal. The design itself is a radioactive symbol with the texture masked into the foreground logo.
And no. I haven't submitted the logo itself yet.

Try to do your best to get an idea not an actual design, it is copyrighted. Answer 3
Each and every logo should have a unique quality which you can identify from its color, shapes and images used in that design. So, it is against copyright. << GO BACK to questions
