All Answers To Questions

Answer 1

im not sure about the broken computer misuse or the data protection the rest i do know to answer the copy write question: if there is enough proof to charge you or the violator with copywrite then you are bound by federal law and subject to federal prosecution to answer the breach of security: you are liable for all damages the company receive based on your actions including but not limited to the following 1. damage to the computers 2. loss of information 3. identity recovery of any clients that may have been affected 4. the amount of time and the money required to fix the problem

Answer 2

They are not computer laws per se, the Data Protection Act 1998 (I am guessing you are UK based?) covers all types of personal information to a greater or lesser degree. Copyright also covers everything related to the rights of authors/creators. If you manage to break all three you are in serious trouble and it it is possible by gaining unauthorised access to a computer system (computer misuse), taking personal information without authority (DPA) and publishing information that you have no rights over (copyright). The fines and jail terms are searchable online - hey, you have to do SOME of the homework yourself!
