ABOUT THE CREATOR

Jonathan Earp has worked in the entertainment industry most of his adult life, including the last ten years as an attorney. He has counseled hundreds of successful music projects, in both the major-affiliated and the independent sectors. His clients have included recording artists, record and publishing companies, webcasters and MP3 websites, songwriters, and producers of music, television, film and multimedia projects in all phases of their careers. Currently, he works as a Music Business Affairs attorney for Studios USA, a producer of television shows. Previously, he has been an attorney in the legal & business affairs department of Rhino Records, and has taught a course he designed for San Francisco State University, entitled "Record Company Operation." He splits his time between Los Angeles and the Bay Area, where he resides with his wife, Laurie, and kids, Erin and Dylan George-Ringo.
